The second day in Bangkok. I have begun to adjust myself to the time difference and the humid heat. The trip went well and this time I tried the public bus from Suvarnabhumi airport in to the Victoria Monument. But what I didn’t think of was that the bus didn’t take the expressway so it took nearly 2 hours for going only 25 km due to the heavy traffic. It was cheap alright, only 34 Baht compared to a taxi limousine which costs around 1000 Baht!

Anyway, they have announced that they soon will be ready with the new express train. The same trip from the airport in to town will take around 15 minutes! So I nearly can’t wait for that!

Up to now I have been very lazy, shopping and eating good sushi. They have this midyear sales with a discount up to 70% so if you are in the shopping mode you have come to the paradise!
